FAM Holds Ordinary Congress 2026

The Football Association of Maldives (FAM) successfully held its Ordinary Congress on 7 March 2026, bringing together representatives from member clubs and key stakeholders of Maldivian football.

The congress, one of the most important decision-making platforms of FAM, provided an opportunity for member clubs to review the association’s activities and discuss the future direction of football development in the Maldives.

During the session, FAM presented its annual activity report, highlighting major competitions organized throughout the year, progress in grassroots and youth development programs, and the continued development of national team initiatives.

Financial matters were also addressed during the congress, with the presentation of the association’s financial report to the member clubs.

Delegates engaged in discussions on key topics related to the growth of football in the Maldives, including the improvement of domestic competitions, strengthening governance, and the development of football infrastructure across the country.

FAM reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with member clubs and stakeholders to further strengthen football development and create more opportunities for players, clubs, and communities across the Maldives.
